      This photo was a while ago now, but as I recall the shutter speed was more a function of light levels. I wanted the blurred-out backdrop of a large aperture, and 1/320 was the shutter speed under the full-sun conditions that gave a proper exposure.

      As I’ve gotten better at photography, I’ve learned to structure more of my shots more around aperture than shutter speed.
