If I were to have a favorite ant, leaf cutters would be up there!!!! So COol! Although, it’s a lil irritating that we have to relate every research endeavor to human welfare. There are a ton of other interesting things by studying leaf cutters….ie ecology and symbiosis!!!
Andrew – We study A LOT more than just things related to human welfare. But if you want funding, you have to justify it somehow!
