If I’d had more time this week I would have photoshopped an ant head on a turkey for this post. Or something equally tacky. I always thought a dung beetle with a pilgrim hat might bring the right balance of buggy, festive, and silly.
As it is, I’m spending the day in a small gathering in town here with family, friends, and pets. I’ll instead wish my American readers a happy day of gluttony, football, and good company. And to my non-American friends, you really should try out one of these overeating-related holidays.

=) Backatcha! I have 14,000 things to do today before 2 sets of guests arrive (2 p.m. meal, then people staying for weekend), and tomorrow we’re leaving for big family T-day, bringing 2 pies and a double batch of cranberry sauce I’ve get to begin making.
YET I stopped to take photographs of a mysterious spider outside, resting on our house. Of course.
Enjoy!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mrs. Myrmecos too!
Rob
Thanks guys!
