Blattaria (Roaches)

Roaches are an ancient group of Neopteran insects found worldwide in a great variety of habitats, especially in the tropics.  These insects are known for a handful of urban pest species, but the majority of roach species- over 99% - are not pests and are found primarily in natural areas.  Most roaches are nocturnal.
