Monomorium floricola

Monomorium floricola is a very small ant- only a few millimeters long.  This species has become common in tropical regions around the world by tramping about with international commerce, so much so that the species' region of origin is not actually known.  They nest in small plant cavities and are easily transported in ornamental plants.
