Phasmida (Stick Insects)

Phasmida comprise large, herbivorous orthopteroid insects that are largely tropical or warm temperate in distribution.  These insects can be locally common but are not always easily seen as they are masters of camouflage.  Phasmida includes some of the world's largest insects.
