Bothriomyrmex

The tiny ants in the genus Bothriomyrmex are found in Australia, in warmer regions of Eurasia and North Africa, and in Central America.  Little is known about their biology, but some of the Eurasian species are temporary nest-founding parasites of Tapinoma ants.
